Dollar Spot Expression
“Results are consistent with data from research stations. Significantly less dollar spot is found in the Mineral Builder fairways versus the controls”.
Background Information: 

Field trials were set up at golf courses across Ontario and Quebec and were based on the clinical studies at the Guelph Turfgrass Institute and Laval research station. A quadrate was used to randomly count both old and new lesions over a three month period beginning in August. A supplemental foliar fertilizer was applied (Protocal™) bi-weekly. The golf course trials consisted of 12 fairways with each program being applied to 3 fairways.

  1. Mineral Builder 16-2-15 - 0.5 lbs Nitrogen applied August 15, 0.5 lbs Nitrogen applied September 15
  2. Mineral Builder 16-2-15 - 0.5 lbs Nitrogen applied August 15, 0.5 lbs Nitrogen applied September 15.
    Foliar protocal applied every 2 weeks at 8 oz/1,000
  3. NPK control – 1.0 lbs Nitrogen applied August 15.
  4. Control – no fertilizer

note: No fungicides were applied to the trial fairways
